Ellen Fitzpatrick: Philadelphia Big 5 and Saint Joseph’s University Hall of Famer Ellen Fitzpatrick is joining the Fitzpatrick Hoops basketball camp staff.  Coach Fitzpatrick began her basketball career at West Philadelphia Catholic High School, where she is also a member of their Athletics Hall of Fame, and then continued her basketball career at Saint Joseph’s University.  She is known as one of the top perimeter shooters in Saint Joseph’s University Women’s basketball history.   Ellen still holds the SJU record for career 3-point accuracy at 40.4%. She recorded 355 assists and shot 82% from the foul line for her career.  In her junior season Ellen shot 89% from the foul line while setting the SJU record for most consecutive free throws made at 35.  Her senior season Ellen made 74 threes while shooting over 40%.  Ellen was a two-time captain (junior and senior seasons) and also led her team to the NCAA Division I tournament all 4 years, as well as national rankings, including 9th in the country her senior season.  She finished as an Atlantic 10 All-Rookie/All-Conference player for 3 years including her senior season in which she was First Team A-10 All-Conference and First Team All-Philadelphia Big 5.

Following her playing career, Ellen was the head coach at Georgetown Visitation High School in Washington, D.C. and then went on to become an Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at nationally ranked George Washington University.  While at GW, the women’s basketball team made it to the 2nd round of the NCAA Division I tournament by beating the University of Georgia before a tough 7 point loss to UCONN.  Moving back to the Philadelphia area, Coach “Fitz” served as President of “Fitzpatrick Basketball” and ran camps, clinics, workouts, and coached teams of all ages before becoming the Saint Joseph’s University Women’s Basketball Director of Operations. 

Kathleen Fitzpatrick: Kathleen is entering her second year as a member of the Rutgers University Women's Basketball Team. Prior to Rutgers Kathleen played three seasons at St. Joseph's ... Among the Hawks' top three-point threats the last two seasons ... As a junior, averaged 8.5 points per game, while leading St. Joseph's in three-pointers (57) and free throw percentage (.833) ... Appeared in 29 games, with 18 starts ... Named to the Hawk Classic All-Tournament Team ... Scored a career-high 26 points, including eight three-pointers, against Rhode Island ... As a sophomore, Fitzpatrick led the Hawks in three-point shots made (53) and free throw percentage (.906) ... Earning the team's "Most Improved Award" as a sophomore appearing in 28 games, including 24 starts ...Made 19 appearances as a rookie, finishing third on the team in field goal percentage (.469) ... 

Joey Fitzpatrick: Joey is a rising junior and Economics major at Johns Hopkins University, he is in his third year playing for the Division III Blue Jays. In High School Joey averaged 11.6 points, 5.8 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game and earned Second Team All-Mainline honors as a junior • averaged 13.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game as a senior • named Second Team All-Mainline and Inter-Ac as well as team MVP in senior year.
